Drawing on new Nuffield funded research on child contact arrangements in the UK from One Parent Families|Gingerbread and new non-adversarial programmes to deal with the effect of separation on children being pioneered by Resolution, the leading body representing family solicitors, our fringe meeting will discuss what services are needed to support parents and children to best handle the painful process of separating and re-establishing a new family life afterwards.
